FUN, EDUCATIONAL, INTERACTIVE PRESENTATIONS!

Presentation Descriptions:

Although all presentations are educational, they are also fun and interactive. The following are basic descriptions, but all presentations are personalized for each school. Ellen mixes and matches in order to develop the best presentation for the particular children with whom she’ll be working.

Presentation #1: Reading Strategies

This presentation involves the children while helping them understand different reading strategies. Ellen uses a humorous power point explaining the steps to publication as well as a power point “Game Show.”

Presentation #2: Writing Process

This presentation includes a power point presentation focusing on the writing process. This includes the six traits of writing and gets the children involved in interactive games.

Presentation #3: Teaching Tolerance

This presentation using Hayfest, A Holiday Quest and Bully in the Barnyard as a jumping off point for activities and discussions on inclusion and tolerance as well as the dangers of bigotry and prejudice. Programs will be designed for specific grade levels.

Presentation #4:  From Idea to Publication

This presentation focuses on the road to publication allowing the children to take part in “hands on” activities which will culminate with the children making their own book. This is best done with a small number of children.

Presentation: #5: Let’s work together and design a program just for your school!

Presentation Fees:
